Kinfolks Hunting Knife with solid wood handle. The blue steel blade is 4 1/4" with a narrow 1 3/4" blood groove. This blade is full and very sharp. OAL is 8 1/4". This beautiful solid wood grained handle is surrounded by red, brass and black end washers that accent the grain of the wood. The guard and bolster are of nickle silver and are ding free. The sheath has been repaired at the toe with an aluminum reinforcement strip secured by two rivets.
This knife dates to the 1958-65 era of Kinfolks knives. It was most probably manufactured after the Robeson acusition of Kinfolks in 1957. The model number is faint, but apperars to be PO3056 which is a Kinfolks/Robeson numbering deseginations.
